We become so preoccupied that we don’t even know what we undeservedly acquire, hence always too busy to spare our Lord the time to say Thank You.
Showing appreciation makes that gift worthy, inestimable and great. The Giver always shows His delight each time we appreciate what He gives us, no matter how small or insignificant, in our estimation. He says to give thanks in everything. You may be in need of a car;but if what you can afford is a bike, appreciate what you have, for a bird at hand is worth two in the bush.
When we appreciate the least today, tomorrow we will have every cause to appreciate the most.
