THE DANCE GOES ON By Umar YB

THE DANCE GOES ON

Do the green grasses
fade and dry
When dew evaporates
back to sky?
Do the bubbly rivers
mourn the fish
That wander into net
and vanish?
Swaying trees, do they
halt in grief
Over the falling of a
golden leaf?
Nay, the dance goes on
and the flow;
Sun smiles, thunders clap
Winds sing on as they blow!
