POETIC JUSTICE 19 – By Mshinaram Warigon Ahrey

THE HEART OF THE EARTH

On the head of the mountain
I stand
Viewing the sea of heads below
Drinking in the beauty of nature
I see the sprawling carpets
Of colours, spread
The flirting birds in flight
Quarreling crocodiles
Trees praying and some, gossiping
Busy people in all shapes
Swirling helter skelter
Children in a frenzy
Wrapped inside the duvet of innocence
The different languages
Are like the tapestry of music.
The falling rain
Is a blessing
From the art Master Himself
Beautiful blueness of the ocean
Is the reflection of the azure sky
Golden deserts
Lying like a lazing lady
With no care
Lush grasses blissfully tempting
Busy butterflies blessing blossoms
Of the mullti-coloured flowers.
The shy silver sky studded with sapphires
Diamonds and gold
Is adorned as a belle of the ball
The mixed music of the exotic birds
Are like the caress of the winds
Intoxicating and tempting
The rolling thunder is the night drum
That stills the night and brings
A confluence of rainbowed morning

  1. Your poem has something magical…it carries my heart into a world of beauty and emotion, a place of colorful images, talent and creativity. And this place reveals a part of your soul…thank you for writing the way you do. Your articles are impressive too, I love reading them, but your poetry…simply amazing.
And thank you for following my blog, I’m honored!
    Best regards,
    Claudia
